Up for auction is a used Apple II ][ with a low serial number A2S1 #0148 with Software, Disk ][ Drive x2, Disk ][ Interface card x2, Grappler + Printer Interface, Mockingbird Sound card, Rom Card 600 with Integer ROMS and Apple simulated leather carry bag(the one with unbitten apple logo). The computer is in working order and in great shape for its age(36 years old). It has been stored and unused in the Apple carry bag for over 25+ years. This is one of the first 200 ever produced. The case has no ventilation slots on the sides(Stamped with date July 14, 1977), motherboard is Rev 0(Dated 1977 with Serial Number 1•356) and original power supply with metal toggle switch(handwritten serial number PS0154, no FCC certifications and screen printed logo on top). The computer originally came with less DRAM but was upgraded to 48k. The ROMs were also upgraded to Applesoft ROMs. The Integer ROMs were removed from the motherboard and installed into the Rom Card 600(firmware card) which is included and installed into slot 0. Having the firmware card installed allows the user to switch between the ApplesoftROMs or the Integer ROMs. Also includes a Grappler + Printer Interface card by Orange Micro, Mockingbird Sound card by Sweat Micro Systems and Disk ][Interface Card by Apple Computer, Inc. These cards are currently installed in the computer. The power cord and monitor cable will also be included. |
